Read Chapter 7 of Lynch, and do problems: Section 7.5 -- 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10
(You may use a computer algebra system to draw phase portraits for 10. However, you should be able to draw phase portraits on your own).
Read Section 9.1 of Lynch, and do problems: Section 9.5 -- 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Note: Didn't have the time to write notes. But the book has a nice list of examples. So decided to discuss the examples in the book.
